The food was exceptional; George and Staff were friendly, efficient and experienced and we loved our Fiat driving Waitress at dinner. The location is obviously delightful and rural, the hotel tastefully decorated. A very stylish stay. Thank you so much xx

Food exceeded expectations. Dinner was delicious and an equally good breakfast followed in the morning. I was travelling with elderly relatives, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming.

Sunday "lunch" at 6pm was excellent and the staff were exceptionally pleasant especially George, the manager. Room was warm and comfy with a great shower and set in a pretty terraced garden. The River Lugg flows by and there are tables to sit at and enjoy watching the water over a glass of something. Breakfast included some of the tastiest marmalade I have ever eaten. All in all an excellent inn and very good value for money.

Superb shower in ensuite, and good selection of teas and coffees in the room. Excellent breakfast. Nice that you have automatically got a dinner reservation in the restaurant, and that more vegetarian options were offered in addition to what was on the menu when we mentioned we were veggie.

Warm welcome from George, the manager who was very attentive throughout our stay as were all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The Inn is in a lovely location and has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We had dinner and breakfast for 2 nights and the food was excellent . Our room was spacious, warm & comfortable and overlooked the river.

Wonderful large room - more like an apartment! Great food as always - and the bar area is a fantastic place to sit and enjoy a pre or post dinner drink by the fabulous two-way wood burning stove.

The Inn was beautiful and rustic Elizabethan inn with open fires and an eclectic mix of furniture, and dog-friendly. The food was fresh and locally sourced and menu was simple but interesting and tasty. The organic Italian wine was delicious. I loved the garden room which had a “hobbit house” feel. An EV charger was a great bonus for us and they kindly let us borrow it.
