    Food was great, breakfast and dinner as well. Nice surrounding, good place to make excursions in the near forest. A bit far from the railway station, at the top of a mountain, it can hardly reached if you do not arrive by car.

    Nice little country hotel with restaurant. We stayed here for two nights for a family visit. The breakfast is good, the staff friendly! However, note that it's better to reserve a table if you want to have dinner after arrival - but the way to alternatives in Alfeld and surroundings is not too far ;-)

    The location is beautiful. The hotel is located on a hill overlooking the city. Dinner from the schnitzel or steak menu is excellent. The rooms are in need of renovation, especially the bathrooms. Everything works well, but everything is outdated. The staff is very nice and helpful.
