Very cute room under the wooden roof in this small village on top of the hill. We had also a very nice dinner and brekfast at the hotel restaurant , prepared by Claudia and her husband. All local food, very tasty. Their pasta with vegetables is very special :-) You cannot reach the hotel directly with the car: you should park it in the parking lot just outside the village and walk the last 200 mt. Google would try to take you all the way there with the car, but it is not possible! At the parking lot you find a sign that indicates the direction to reach the Osteria. Make sure you have your mobile phone with you for some light in the parts of the walk where there is no public light.
Faido (Near Anzonico)
Albergo Faido enjoys a quiet sunny location in the village of Faido in the Leventina Valley, 40 km from Bellinzona. It offers free Wi-Fi and a restaurant with Ticinese cuisine.
The recently renovated rooms at the Faido Albergo feature private or shared bathrooms. The tennis court at the house can be used for free.

We booked the room the last minute. The host is very kind to wait for us until 10:45pm and even homemade coffee for us the next morning. Excellent service!
