The property is pet friendly, so my hound and I were made to feel very welcome. Also, every single member of staff we met was friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up! The staff are Haven Inn's greatest asset. The WiFi was also very reliable, and there were enough TV channels to keep me occupied during the evenings.

The facilities were a step back in time, but they were very clean, and rather rustic. Our first impression was not that great by looking at the outside of the building, but it changed once we were there for a day. We had a group of friends traveling together, and the common dining room/living room were very nice as a gathering place to visit, eat and play games. The owner provided a delicious breakfast each morning, and the kitchen was always available for us to make a hot beverage or have a snack.

Although the restaurant served breakfast, we were in a hurry so we went to Tim Horton's. However, we did have dinner there the previous evening. That was very convenient.

Rustic lodge great for hikers, cyclist, outdoors folk. Help yourself kitchen, well stocked with everything imaginable. Lin, our host, did everything himself including great bacon and eggs breakfasts. Rooms basic but clean. Beautiful scenery all around but no moose

Location is as good to visit Viking Center; ate dinner and breakfast at restaurant and both were very good, reasonable priced and excellent service.

Great view over the landscape. Was able to dry out my camping gear after a night of rain and to get an extra night. I was also able to use the kitchen to make my dinner. Quiet and comfortable.
