It’s not a pousada it is a Motel, the staff is very friendly but the idea of a pousada is a mistake, it is a very cheap motel. Sorry for the sincerity.

It is a guest house in a renovated old building. The furnishings in the building are elaborate and tasteful. Air conditioning is quite good. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious.

The food in the restaurant for dinner was surprisingly good, especially the cheeseburger was fantastic. the staff is super nice and helpful. the view from the top floor where we had the room were awesome across São Luis.
We loved this small guest house in the old city. It's beautifully renovated inside and the owners are attentive and helpful. Crepes at breakfast every day and we had a large, comfortable bed. Also, our room was extremely quiet, so we slept very well. Easily one of my favorite places that I've stayed. Incredible value for the price.
