Nouveau Stade Bordeaux is a 35-minute tram ride away and Cité du Vin Museum is 2 km away.. Service was great, extensive and very good breakfast, great room with nice beds and comfortable bathroom. Staff was lovely. Location was perfect in a nice calm area of the city a few minutes from the Garonne. Hotel located on walking distance from trendy hot spots at the Garonne. And the nearby transport possibilities (tram, boot taxi) took us in in instant to other lovely sites of the city on the other side of the Garonne. Parking facility of the hotel is a huge benefit.
La Teste-de-Buch
Set in a pine forest, 5 km from the sandy beaches, ibis Arcachon la Teste de Buch is an air-conditioned hotel with 24-hour reception. It includes a heated outdoor swimming pool and a grill restaurant.

Everything went well. The arrival was very smooth. We were able to rent bikes last minute and really enjoyed the heated outdoor pool.
The rooms were comfortable.
The breakfast was really good.
Bayonne
Located a 5-minute walk from the centre of Bayonne, this ibis hotel is set on the banks of the Adour River, just 600 metres from the train station. It offers air-conditioned guest rooms and a furnished terrace. Breakfast was good, as much as you can eat, parking is secure but at a cost, 9 euros a day. The room can feel very small, but for us it is only for one night.
Périgueux
With a 24-hour front desk, ibis Périgueux Centre is 300 metres from the centre of Périgueux and its Cathedral. It offers a terrace and soundproofed rooms with free WiFi. There is an à la carte restaurant on site. The location was excellent for anyone who wished to walk around the City. The reception staff were lovely, helpful & friendly. Hotel was spotless, we will be back 🥰
Lescar
Located a 10-minute drive from Pau city centre and Jurançon vineyards, ibis Pau Lescar offers 3 meeting rooms, a WiFi corner as well as a lounge bar and a terrace where guests can relax.
All the air-conditioned rooms feature a wardrobe, a desk and a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a desk. The private bathroom is complete with a hairdryer and a bath or shower.
Exactly what an Ibis should be like. We will stay there again if/when we return to Pau. (By the way ... the staff were excellent!)

The Bordeaux Ibis Budget had a warm, bright reception area. The lady on Reception was welcoming and very helpful. Nothing was goo much trouble. The location was excellent, next to the Bordeaux ring road, so easy to find. They were very dog friendly.
Great location if you're traveling through France/Spain as it's a short distance from the motorway. Welcoming and friendly staff. It's a typical Ibis Budget but a clean and well run one. Car parking on site.
Large room better then the normal Ibis budget. Perfect location for a stop over as just off the motorway.
The combination of the Ibis budget and the adjoining restaurant made for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Food in the restaurant wS very good for the price.
Too basic rooms - stayed in a 2nd Ibis budget the next night in Elche and this was a completely different experience.
Broken shower, lumpy beds, air conditioning very poor. Broken skirting boards. All as expected for Ibis Budget, however because it's France and Bordeaux they charge a lot of money and offer very little in return. This is our 6th and last stay in this hotel. First stay back there since the COVID-19 pandemic and this hotel needs a real good scrub down
If you have ever stayed at an Ibis Budget hotel, you already know what to expect. The room was good and more spacious than other units of the same chain. It was very clean, the beds were comfy, and the room had a good view from the street. The hotel offers a good French-style breakfast buffet for a reasonable price. The hotel is located a few steps from the train station. The area looked safe enough and there are many restaurants nearby. All in all, it was a very good choice for a short stay in Bordeaux.
this should be a plus quality for a highway motel: the room is bigger than eg ibis budget etc and the shower has also more space. more space means more comfort. bed is good, shower is nice, breakfast is ok. we are happy with the ace hotel chain!
We found the IBIS budget Hotel, extremely good value, high standard of cleanliness. Warm, bed very comfortable. We will stay again on our future trips.
