Nestled in lush vegetation, retreat to this enchanting and charming, neutrally decorated one-bedroom cottage under the trees. A peaceful, Utopian paradise; with a mountain behind you and vistas of the ocean in front. A private deck where you can enjoy glorious sunset drinks and bbq. This romantic spot is in walking distance of the boardwalk which takes you to the unspoiled beaches of Kommetjie. Breathtaking views with a cosy fireplace for the cooler evenings. Life done right!
I love travelling, and work to satisfy my wanderlust. My day job is project management in the building industry. I'm quiet, clean, organised and very respectful of people's homes. I love beautiful things and spaces, and appreciate that one's home is one's haven. 5 things I can't live without: Sea, chocolate, champagne, music, travelling. Favourite travel destinations: Italy, Greece, Garden Route.
Kommetjie is a seaside village about 50 mins from the centre of Cape Town. It boasts the famous Long Beach known by surfers worldwide and is a long, sandy beach from end to end. There is also a beautiful boardwalk along the sea, starting at the lighthouse and ending at the Kom. There are several restaurants and coffee shops, but generally the pace is slow in the village. If you're interested in hiking, Kommetjie mountain has different trails, and I can advise where to pick these up. Kommetjie is perfectly situated between Scarborough and Noordhoek and between these areas, there is plenty to see and do, including excellent restaurants, an exceptional wine farm, night markets, and fantastic hiking trails. A little further afield is Cape Point, the Constantia wine route, Boulders Beach (where the penguins live), trendy Kalk Bay, Chapman's Peak Drive and Hout Bay.
