Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac on Pringle Bay's peninsula, Waterblom is our family home. Suikerbos, the first-floor deluxe unit, can accommodate two guests. The ensuite unit features an open-plan design with modern and classic touches, including a sea-facing French balcony and a private mountain-view terrace. With the rugged, rocky coastline a mere 70-meter walk from your doorstep, you can enjoy spectacular sunsets and sunrises directly from Suikerbos, weather permitting. The studio has two twin beds that can be prepared together or separately. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, basin, and toilet. The brand-new kitchen is fully equipped with a four-plate gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, a Nespresso machine, a fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery, as well as a dishwasher. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. There is a dedicated workspace and a flat-screen smart TV with Netflix. Take your time to relax and unwind in the designer Studio Stirling swing chair while enjoying a cup of Nespresso or a glass of wine. Waterblom is our family home. The name Waterblommetjies, which translates to "little water flower," is synonymous with a traditional Cape winter stew. The humble beginnings of Waterblom can be traced back to 1977 when it was a modest fisherman's cottage. Over the years, our parents meticulously developed and expanded the house; she has countless stories to tell. In 2023, we embarked on a significant renovation, transforming the property from its original thatched roof to a contemporary design. We love living in Pringle Bay - a village in the Kogelberg Biosphere. We hope you will experience the magic of this exceptional location when staying at one of our two units. Although I currently reside in India, our co-host, Maryn, is based in Pringle Bay. We value your privacy but remain accessible via WhatsApp to provide any assistance, recommendations, or advice you may require during your stay. To ensure a seamless entry, you will be provided with an access code in advance, granting you convenient access to Suikerbos.

Pringle Bay, a picturesque coastal village, is situated within the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO-designated reserve renowned for its exceptional biodiversity. The village is nestled at the base of Hangklip Mountain, marking the southeastern boundary of False Bay. Pringle Bay offers a variety of recreational activities, including snorkeling, diving, hiking, biking, surfing, and fishing. The town's charm lies in its tranquil ambiance, with unpaved roads and an absence of street lamps. It is renowned for its safety and family-friendly atmosphere, featuring an array of restaurants and curio shops catering to locals, tourists, and passersby. While personal transportation is necessary to reach Pringle Bay, once there, most locations are accessible, weather permitting. The scenic R44 Clarence Drive, which traverses Rooiels, Pringle Bay, Bettys Bay, and Kleinmond, provides breathtaking views across False Bay. This coastal road follows the natural contours of the rocky sea cliffs, offering prime whale-watching opportunities during the appropriate season.
