Everything from booking to leaving was exceptional! Nick and Dena go out of their way to make it the perfect stay. We were there for a wedding and were incredibly busy. They were so accommodating and friendly. So many sweet touches and a home filled with love. I would recommend Weavers cottage as the PERFECT holiday spot.

Loved taking in the view by day and by night from the balcony.
We booked the ‘Penthouse Suite’’. In my opinion, although a spacious and tastefully decorated unit, it doesn’t fit the title of Penthouse. My understanding of penthouse is a place that occupies the top floor of a multi story building. This one is on street level. I would have liked to know that. Also, parking is outside the unit on the street. A security camera but that’s it. No fence etc. Seems to be in a quiet neighbourhood.
The unit in general is in need of some maintenance. Had a couple issues while we were there which the owner was very prompt to sort out. Really good communication throughout our stay.

Small place nice and clean beaches. Some good restaurants and enough outside G/B to go to great beach drive .Lourensford wine Estate a must to see.

We know Gordons Bay very well as we used to own a property there. It's a quiet delightful village with 2 fabulous beaches, a few great restaurants and bars as well as a working harbour.
In nearby Strand village, there is a fabulous fine dining restaurant 'De Brasserie' owned by a local Belgian family of wine producers - utterly stupendous!

We saw krystal beach hotel being rebuilt ftom the old one.Always promised ourselves a stay one day but never did until now.However we often called for coffee. My wife thought it was the nicest birthday surprise ever.so that made it all worth while.

The views of the sea from the hotel were exceptional, the hotel was situated in a clean and safe area. Close to amenities, restaurants and the beach , hotel service was great (the lunch and dinner service of the restaurant is a bit slow but the food is good) . I’d definitely recommend this to anyone!

Great location for beautiful views and boat rides, plus whale watching in winter. Easy access to the Elgin region for wine farms, Somerset West and Stellenbosch. Alternatively take a ride along the coast to Betty's Bay, the penguins and Hermanus. Stay 2/3 nights and explore this beautiful part of the Western Cape.

A gem hidden just outside the hustle and bustle of Cape Town. A very lovely getaway that allows the perks of being near the tranquil beach while still having amenities very close by.
It’s a nice break from the city.
We loved the warm welcome, the hosts sympathy. The place was cozy, clean, charming, and organized. Despite having load shedding (as usual in South Africa), the generator was very nice, but being surrounded by natural beauty from mountains and beach, we don't want to focus on electronic things. Our room with a view to the ocean allowed us to witness beautiful sunsets. The breakfast was rich, healthy and fresh. For sure we will come back to spend more weekends!
Blue Skies is very well situated in Gordons Bay, easy to get to and very close to the sea front. What was so good was that every little thing one might need in a Bed and Breakfast hotel had been supplied, it was so thoughtful too. Seriously good cooked breakfast and so much else on the buffet from juices to cereals,yogurt, toast, jams, a selection of teas and coffees and many other things. The staff were so friendly and accommodating.
The apartment was comfortable, well equipped. home away from home. The beds were comfortable, good quality linen. I loved the False-bay videos from the lounge and main bedroom. Well located, a few metres from the beach. Good restaurants close by, basically close to everything. Check in and check out were smmoth. I had to check out quite early due to unforeseen emergency, Mary-Anne and Jean were accommodating. Super hosts indeed.
This was my second stay at 185 on Beach and this time was pleasantly surprized with an upgrade from the original room I had reserved. Thank you so much Jeanette. And once again Dastan delivered world class service together with the rest of the team on the property. Kudos to you all. This is the sort of hospitality and service that will take me back to 185 on Beach over and over again.
Accomodation is spacious and well furnished. Bedrooms are large and comfortable.
The balcony and dining room overlook the beach, which is about 20 m from the front door. The area is secure and feels safe to walk around even at night.
The braai (barbecue) area at the back is closed off with enough seating for a large family.
The beach is clean.
The location was perfect being a stone throw away from the beach and close to restraunts. The views from the apartment watching the breathtaking sunset from your balcony is beautiful. It's a great getaway spot for family and I absolutely loved that both bathrooms had chrome wall mounted bidets.My kids loved being there.
Krystal Beach hotel has the most breathtaking views of the mountains and beach. They have a variety spread of the buffet breakfast. The staff especially reception staff are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The rooms are air-conditioned. They have a lovely pool area and spa.
Excellent house. Very clean. Modern fittings in kitchen and bathrooms and well maintained. Location right on the beach with own private steps down to the sea and beachfront. Check-in was superb and personal by the host. Well explained and not rushed. DStv and WiFi were good.
We had a great time there with the kids....amazing beach view and our room was perfect ...the staff was very helpful and friendly and made us feel right at home.... breakfast was out of this world!!....thank you for making our holiday one to remember 🙏❤️
