On the Beach B&B boasts beautifully decorated bedrooms with aircon, TV and full DSTV package. Very central and close to all shops and restaurants. Our newly renovated B&B is situated across from the beach front, so guests simply walk out of their rooms and across the road onto the beach to enjoy the sun, sand and ocean. We are situated approximately 15km from Durban CBD with direct access to the M4 highway and direct access to Umhlanga Rocks a short 7km away. We offer 3 room types at our establishment including: Standard King, Deluxe Double or Twin and the Family room. The Standard King rooms can accommodate 2 guests in a king size bed, or the beds can be split into 2 singles. There are 5 units of this room type. Some of these units can accommodate a cot or a single mattress on the floor for 1 additional child. Rooms have a shower only. The Deluxe Double or twin rooms are on the 1st floor with access by stairs. These rooms can accommodate 2 guests in a Super King bed or 2 guests each in a 3/4 bed. There are 2 units of this room type. Both of these units can accommodate a cot or single mattress for 1 additional child. Rooms have a shower only. The Family Rooms can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. The unit contains a King size bed which can be split into 2 single beds as well as containing a sleeper couch. We have 2 units of this room type. These units contain a bath as well as a shower.

Hello there! My name is Keague and I would like to introduce you to my dream come true! I come from a family of excellent cooks so naturally I developed a passion for the catering and hospitality industry. After school I studied at Silwood School of Cookery and thereafter worked at various establishments as an Executive Chef. After many years of hard work and dedication I am now the proud owner of this beautiful B&B aptly named On The Beach due to its location along with the cafe Sea Salt which is located on the property. We call this a family run business with me being the Executive Chef of the cafe, my mother is the assistant chef and baker for the cafe, my wife is the general manager of the accommodation, my best friend is the cafe manager, and his wife works in the housekeeping department, my uncle manages the gardens and grounds while my aunt does the business accounting and last but certainly not least is my precious daughter who is the resident mermaid in the B&B's pool.

Glenashley is one of Durban North’s suburbs, which together with Umhlanga and La Lucia, have collectively come to represent one of the most desirable parts of Durban in which to visit. North of the Umgeni River and the Blue Lagoon, which serves as the finish line for the exciting annual Duzi Canoe Marathon, the comfortable suburb of Glenashley is a place of family homes and secure complexes, excellent schools and a way of life that includes beaches, shopping malls and sunny days. Glenashley serves as an excellent and quick commute for the businessman who doesn’t want to stay within the heart of the city, and needs swift access to the multinational corporates and businesses that have moved north of Durban’s old Central Business District (downtown) to set up business in the modern business parks with enviable coastal views. The Virginia Airport is virtually on Glenashley’s doorstep, yet another reason for staying here.
