The two cottages are set on the owners property. They are close enough together to have a large family but apart to enjoy personal space. The property has been here since the early 1960's. The house was built by my grandfather. A typical solid house with wooden beams made from the finest wood. The cottages are surrounded by nature, beautiful mountains for hiking and the beach is a 5 minute walk. There is a communal bathroom with a shower as an extra bonus in the main house which needs to be organized in advance. There is a fire pit for gatherings on a calm wind free evening. There are body boards and surf boards to use on request and plenty of games and a pool table. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful with no street lights. Pringle Bay is known for its fauna nad flora and is a particularly safe town. PLEASE NOTE: No day visitors are allowed on the property except for the people who have booked unless previously arranged with the host. There is an extra cost and must be negotiated in advance
Carmen runs foraging and hiking experiences and knows the area well. I have been in this area since a child and am familiar with all the secret spots. Please enquire if you would like to get a little adventurous. These adventures are seasonal and need to be arranged in advance. Meals can also be arranged but qell in advance. We have picnic baskets with delicious treats and can also be arranged in advance. Chat to me to get all the information on local fun things to do
Pringle Bay is a quiet safe neighborhood with a beautiful coastline and a wonderful history. Set in a valley with exquisite mountains and a most unique energy. It is away from the City with Hermanus and Somerset West approximately 50 minutes away in opposite directions. The bird life is abundant and we have many walking and cycling trails that surround the area. The baboons are a great attraction in Pringle Bay. There is more information in the cottages. There are little buck, porcupines, mongoose, tortoises and plenty birds and other analysts in the are. If you are lucky, you will get to see the whales in the bay at a distance from your cottage. If you go early enough, you can see the otters foraging at the beach.
