BEDROOM 1 En-suite with a wonderful modern spa-bath and toilet Air-conditioned Queen size bed SMART TV with Netflix Direct access onto the patio BEDROOMS 2 Queen size bed Designated bathroom just across the hall with shower and toilet. Direct access onto the patio LIVING ROOM & KITCHEN Stylish open-plan living room with SMART TV and Netflix Fast Fibre Wifi included throughout. Fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, oven, microwave and large fridge OUTDOOR Spacious and private patio with a built-in braai (BBQ) Large outdoor table for al-fresco dining. 2 x Sun Loungers PARKING Designated, secure, off-street parking for 2 cars ​ *This apartment is located on ground-floor level in the 17 Marine Hermanus block, however, there are no apartments directly above it. It is more like a small cottage situated within a secure, mini-complex. *There are no sea views from this apartment. Check-in is between 3pm-7pm. Arrivals after 7pm can be arranged but are subject to extra fees (please get in touch with us before you book if you plan to arrive after 7pm) LOADSHEDDING This is the term used when power is cut to a specific geographical location of the country in order to reduce pressure on the national electricity grid. South Africa is currently experiencing increased loadshedding and it is likely that all travellers will experience this during their trip. Although this is completely out of our control, we do our best to keep our guests informed of the loadshedding schedule. LOADSHEDDING CONTINGENCIES An inverter & battery has now been installed (Aug 2023) When loadshedding kicks in the system uses the battery to keep various appliances and lights on. ON during Loadshedding: Lights, TV, WiFi, fridge, USB charging ports, most plugs, kettle, microwave. OFF during loadshedding: AC, Dishwasher, Geyser, spa bath. *Gas hob is being installed mid Aug 2023 *We also have warm blankets & hot water bottles available for our guests during winter for extra comfort.

Neighbourhood information

Hermanus is one of the top holiday destinations in the Western Cape. A super popular weekend getaway spot for locals and foreigners alike. The perfect first or last spot on the infamous Garden Route. Famous for being one of the best locations in the world for whale sightings (even from shore). The Hemel en Aarde wine valley, best known for their exceptional, world-class Pinot Noir & Chardonnay wines (do NOT miss this!). We recommend guests have their own transport in Hermanus, to make the most of the entire area. However, if you'd prefer us to book you a few tours and taxis to get around, please just ask! IMPORTANT NOTICE We have been informed that there will be construction taking place on the building next door from Sep 2023 for 6 months. Mon-Fri (8am-5pm) and Saturdays until 1pm. From Oct 2023 noise should be low. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause our guests.
