Great central location, and very helpful and accommodating staff - they kept our suitcases for us after checkout while we explored Hanoi, and even let us use a shower in a spare room when we came back before catching the overnight train to Hue!

The hotel is in a great location in the old quarter. The check-in was smooth with the front of office staff cheerful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with a great bed. Breakfast, although not a huge spread had plenty of choice and was always fresh. I would definitely stay again.

The West Hotel and Spa has the best position in the old town . Right in the thick of it, but the front balcony room has double glazing and is very soundproofed. The front desk staff were all exceptional. They had a very welcoming manner and friendly answers to any queries we had. Both rooms we had (before and after our trip to Mae Chau) were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty each morning with the option of freshly cooked eggs or pancakes. Highly recommend, especially the front room with balcony if you can get it when offered at a special price on Booking.com.

Hanoi old quarter has many hotels with fake reviews and I was very cautious in booking the hotel. This eventually turned out to be the best stay in our team. This isn’t one of those fake reviews. I’ll give this 10/10 This is the Best location you can stay at Hanoi old quarter! Next to everything you would want to visit when in Hanoi within a couple minutes of walking. I also ended up booking transfers and day trips through the hotel and everything was super smooth. Staff were exceptionally good! Mike and team went above and beyond in helping us. They even arranged vegetarian food for us during breakfast. Mike helped us plan our stay so much better through WhatsApp with prompt support before the stay. I also left my spectacles in a day trip to halong bay which the hotel team procured and helped me get it through a friend.

Great location, and very clean facilities. Sound proofing in the room was amazing you couldn’t hear anything despite being on a busy street. Mike was also very helpful and helped us book transport between cities and gave us good advice and recommendations :)
