The hotel is connected to its own restaurant which provided lovely breakfasts for us. They also do some great food in the evenings. It’s a very pretty hotel with a lovely garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us sort out the local version of Uber on our phones which was amazing for helping us get around Samarkand and visiting the sights. The Registan is about a 40 minute walk through the city there or a short taxi ride. Everything was very clean and our room was very comfortable. Situated in a lovely leafy area of Samarkand.

The people in this hotel were the most welcoming and caring people we met during our trip. The room was so wonderful decorated and located to the garden sight. It was calm, very clean and very close to the center. The included breakfast was extraordinary. We chose of a menu all we wanted and it was fresh made and so delicious. Super value for money! Great location not too far from the main sights, friendly staff, rooms are spacious and nicely decorated (ours had a view into the inner courtyard). Breakfast was also included and in terms of quality and quantity it was top-notch. The hotel also boasts its own restaurant which happens to be among the best in town; the quality of the food and the services justifies the slightly higher prices compared to other options around the touristic areas.

Hotel Platan is very clean, comfortable and quiet. It has an exceptional restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was huge and very good. You can walk to Registan in about 30-40min. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was overlooking the courtyard/garden.
