Hey ya'll! My husband and I are retiring from the Army and have made New Braunfels our forever home. We love it here in Texas and are excited to share our vacation homes with guests. We have two teenage daughters (God help us), my husband has a service dog named Ares who is a Cane Corso and I have an old, grumpy Dachshund named Tiana.

Property information

We are a retired Army couple who takes pride in self managing and providing that personal touch. Welcome to our riverside retreat! Our cozy rental, steps away from Schlitterbahn Water Park, offers a private entrance to the Guadalupe River. With 2 pools, multiple hot tubs, and accommodations for 8, it's perfect for family getaways. Pet-friendly and tube rentals available for endless water fun!

Neighbourhood information

We aren’t out to nickel and dime our guests or charge a ridiculous amount for cleaning. In fact, the space is equipped with all of the amenities that we as a family have come to find useful when we rent vacation homes ourselves. So we've included cold filtered and bottled water in the fridge upon your arrival, a charcoal BBQ pit, a coffee pot, coffee, creamer, spices, all the cook ware you may need, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom, an alarm clock, dog bowls, kids pack and play, additional linens for extra guests, portable fans, laundry detergent and much more! After you book, we also provide you with a city guide with lots of great tips on attractions, directions to popular sites, and where and how to plan your day on the river. If you're planning to float the river, we can have tubes waiting for you at the house for an additional fee so you can get right on the river and won't have to go through a company to rent. And if you plan to visit Canyon Lake, we rent out jet skis as well! If there are things you would like to have in the house (groceries, decorations, etc) please let us know because we offer full concierge services.
