From here, you're only a 15-minute drive away from Newport - visit the Oregon Coast Aquarium or see a show at the Newport Performing Arts Center in Nye Beach, before returning home to your delightful Waldport retreat for a moonlight stroll on the uncrowded beach! Inside your two-story Shideler House getaway, the spacious and wonderfully designed living room is a great place to watch the sunset or TV (there are cable and a Blu-ray player, as well as a movie library and a Wii).
