I was born and raised in Montana and have deep appreciation for nature and being outdoors. For my adult life, I've called Oakland and NYC home, and have come to rely on modern amenities and gadgets. Cross these and you get the Modern Mountaineer: a stunning smart home powered on satellite Internet nestled on 2.7 acres of remoteness in the Rockies! The Modern Mountaineer offers contactless check-in with keypad entry. To ensure guests have an enjoyable stay, a team of local maintenance and cleaning specialists work alongside our virtual customer service team to keep The Modern Mountaineer in top condition. We have a team ready 24 hours a day to respond to any issues that may come up during your stay.
You will love exploring Bailey, Colorado! Less than 60 minutes from downtown Denver and only 40 minutes from the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheater, this quaint mountain town has numerous dining and entertainment options within easy reach. Castle Mountain Recreation Area and Wellington Lake are a very short drive away, and the ski resorts at Breckenridge, Vail, Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Arapaho Basin are well within reach. Denver is a short drive away if you want to enjoy all the big city's dining, entertainment, cultural, and sporting attractions. Denver International Airport is approximately 90 minutes away. As you leave Denver you'll wind through the mountains with exceptional red-rock views. Several mountain towns offer quaint stores to load up on food and supplies.
