Looking for the perfect couples or solo adventurer's beach getaway? Serendipity OBX is a historic OBX beach cottage with stunning ocean views. Our cottage is situated on Beach Road, and just 200 feet from the beach. The cottage is dog-friendly and features a fenced-in backyard, rooftop deck, front deck, back deck, sun porch and outdoor shower. The cottage is a 5 minute walked to great restaurants and bars. Book your stay at Serendipity OBX today and start planning your beach escape today!
We have been married since 2007 and have one child - our Doberman. We're outdoorsy types and love to hike, mountain climb, ski, kayak, and of course, go to the beach! We will both happily work the day-to-day job of making sure that you are comfortable and enjoying your time when you're at Serendipity in the Outer Banks or in the White Mountains at Grizzly Cabin or Moose Cabin. We want you to have your best vacation every time you come to stay. We are very familiar with the Outer Banks and the White Mountains, and we can give you recommendations for attractions, dinner, breakfast, hiking, skiing, or answer any questions that you may have. We will always be available to you. We're easily accessible via the Airbnb messaging system, as both of us receive notifications when a new message is sent to us, and usually respond within an hour. We host this property remotely, so unfortunately we won't be there to greet you. You will have the privacy of your own home, but we are always available to answer your questions!
We are located on Beach Road between mile marker 4.0 and 4.5 in Kitty Hawk. You can't beat the beach view and how close the ocean is! Access to the beach is via the beach access point which is about 200 feet down the road. During the busier summer months you can sit out on the front deck and people-watch as cars and bikes go down beach road. There are year-round Outer Banks residents to the left, right, and behind our house and it is relatively quiet. On summer nights you can sometimes hear soft music being played from Hurricane Mo's (restaurant) which is about a 5 minute walk from the house, and it stops playing by 10:00pm. Another 5 minute walk from the house is another great restaurant called The Black Pelican. The house is walking distance to great restaurants, and a short driving distance to other restaurants, attractions, shopping, and all the the Outer Banks has to offer. Just steps from the beach! The beach and ocean are right in front of the house, and beach access is about 200 feet at the corner! Walking distance to two great restaurants (Black Pelican and Hurricane Mo's), and 7-Eleven. Taxis/Ubers are very cheap in the Outer Banks.
