I am a vacation property manager and try very hard to make sure our units are in tip top shape for our guests.

This complex is great for families and for couples. Within the complex are two great pools, tennis and a fitness center. Also in the clubhouse there is ping pong and a playstation. A business center is also onsite in case you need to print boarding passes or need a secure network for banking etc. Ocean Walk is 8.5 blocks away from the pier/lighthouse area and is an easy walk on lighted bike paths. In this area you will find great restaurants, bars and shopping. Live music venues can be found in that area at 3 locations usually on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. If you like to fish the lake at Ocean Walk is stocked and fishing is allowed. The pier area is also great for fishing or crabbing. There are several bridge areas and other piers on the island if you like to try out different locations. The best public beach areas are an easy drive is less than 1 mile. You can access beach at low tide at end of our street too, near the pier. Within the 8 blocks to the pier area you will see two very nice playgrounds, public tennis courts, ball fields and Dairy Queen. This walk to the pier is also safe at night down the lighted bike paths.
