The kitchen is full of necessities and niceties to make a trip more comfortable. The dining area has a table large enough to comfortably sit 4 adults. A high chair is available upon request. I do not keep it in the cabin, so please let me know if you need it prior to your arrival. The living room has plenty of space to relax while you enjoy each other's company or watch something on TV. Guests can easily log into their Netflix, Amazon, YouTube accounts, etc. with the available wi-fi. The cabin has a full bathroom with bathtub and washing machine/dryer located inside the cabin for use. Upstairs into the closed half loft is the bedroom with a queen bed with an open closet and dresser. The futon in the living room can be made into a full size bed that can be utilized as needed. A pack and play is available upon request. I do not keep it in the cabin, so please let me know if you need it prior to your arrival. There are blackout shades in the bedroom as well as in the living room room area. On the day of check-in (usually around 2 pm), I will send the check-in information, including the deadbolt code. You will then be able to check-in at your convenience. If there are any issues, I will have added the phone number that is listed through the account to my favorites list and it will ring through to me day or night. I am also just a few minutes away, so if something needs my immediate attention, I can be there in just a few minutes. The property has exterior cameras that record video and sound and will be actively recording during reservations.
I was born and raised in North Pole, Alaska and have never moved away. I love it here and am so thankful to have been able to raise our family here as well! We live a few minutes away from the cabin so guests can contact us during their stay if they need to.
The cabin is at the end of a gravel road. It shares the end of the road with three other properties. There are two short term rentals on the property and they share a driveway but the parking for each cabin is separate. Distance from the cabin to locations of interest: 2.4 miles to Safeway in North Pole 2.5 miles to Santa Claus House in North Pole 20 miles to Fairbanks International Airport 20 miles to the University of Alaska in Fairbanks 16 miles to downtown Fairbanks 62 miles to Chena Hot Springs
