This charming unit occupies the entire floor of a triplex within a stunning 19th-century brownstone with a grand entry, double doors, large windows with shades, and wooden floors throughout the unit. Very high ceilings and two fireplaces add charm to the apartment. The neighborhood is tranquil, making it an ideal spot to relax after a busy day. Short commute to midtown. Great authentic restaurant in the area. Park and subway station 2 blocks away. Enjoy complete privacy. However, if you ever need anything, the host resides on another floor of the triplex.
There are a few nice restaurants in the area with authentic African cousins. St. Nicolas Park is 2 blocks away with Hamilton Grange National Memorial in it. City College Campus on the other side of the park. There are multiple galleries in the neighborhood and a few graffiti murals. Striver's Row is the next block. These are collectively recognized as gems of New York City architecture, and "an outstanding example of late 19th-century urban design" according to Wikipedia. Easy transportation. A, C, 2, and 3, trains within a few blocks. Subway 24/7. Only 20 minutes to midtown. Street parking is available as well as a few paid garages.
