For the golfers, Kukuiolono Golf Course lies just a half mile southwest of the house. Just over a mile north is the small town of Kalaheo, where you can get a slice of pie and coffee at The Right Slice, enjoy a proper pizza at Brick Oven Pizza, or play a little catch at Kalawai Park. Six miles away is old Koloa Town in the Poipu area where you can stock up on groceries or fill up a cooler for a day at Brennecke's Beach or Poipu Beach Park, just a few more miles south.
