The Halifax Cottage is a completely remodeled historic home with all new furnishings and modern conveniences. You will have the entire place for your stay. There are two spacious bedrooms each with a queen bed, a TV, an adjoining bathroom, and ample closet space. The common area is a living room with a queen pullout sofa and a TV, a full kitchen, a dining area (seats four), and laundry. You are a short walk to St. Augustine’s most popular attractions and only a 10-minute drive to the beach! *Halifax Cottage is named in dedication to your local host's childhood hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada).

I am a native Canadian born in Vancouver but raised from infancy in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I also lived in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) for nearly four years before moving to the United States (Nothern Virginia/DC Area). I have lived and worked in Florida since August 2020. Yes, I am a local owner/host! In my free time, I enjoy music, traveling, scary movies, and good food and drinks.

With nearly 550 historic buildings, including Halifax Cottage, the Lincolnville Historic District has been a designated historic neighborhood on the National Register of Historic Places for over 30 years. Lincolnville is rich in history and filled with architectural beauty. In the Lincolnville neighborhood, there are museums, restaurants, bars, and many other places to visit.
