This 1930's cottage located in mid town just 2 blocks from to the beach Gulf of Mexico offers all the amenities one needs for a vacation in Galveston for three days or three months! This pet friendly home has a full, privacy fenced backyard and a lattice gate to close off front porch. Fully furnished, all you need is perishable food. The home is continuously updated to provide all guests with comfort and quality. Local information, maps and restaurant menus are provided. Guest rules are simple - please be respectful of property. A resident of Galveston, we reside 10 blocks from the cottage in an 1867 registered Texas Historical Home. I serve on a number of non-profit boards, City of Galveston Arts & Historic Preservation Advisory Board, Chamber of Commerce Legislative Affairs Board, Chamber of Commerce Advocacy Board, Chamber of Commerce Regional tourism Board and Immediate Past president of the Short Term Rental Owners Association Galveston. Hosting guests at the Coronado Palms Coastal Cottage has been an enjoyable experience the past 17 years and look forward to meeting future guests to introduce them to our "island" life.

The Gallagher neighborhood was developed in the 30's in the Arts and Crafts architecture style. Close proximity to the Seawall and Gulf of Mexico as well as numerous restaurants provide guests the opportunity to assimilate in our island neighborhoods, enjoy the beach and all Galveston Is;land has to offer from Moody Gardens to the Historic Downtown Strand District. The Coronado Palms Coastal Cottage is minutes from everything. Every Sunday in summer and 4th of July, fireworks are set off 2 blocks from the home and can be enjoyed from the front porch or a short walk to the Seawall to view over the Gulf of Mexico. Tuesday Summer band concerts are held behind Ashton Villa on Broadway, a 2 minute drive from the home. The Bryan Museum, Bishop's Palace, Historic Downtown Strand, Texas Seaport Museum and numerous other museums are just minutes from the home as well restaurants from fast food to white tablecloth. Events and festivals occur almost every weekend throughout the year. From Mardis Gras to the Lone Star Bike Rally to Dickens on the Strand, there is an event to suit everyone.
