Wind free South End, close to down town PS, walk to grocery stores, coffee shops and shopping. One of a kind location close to Bike trails, hiking, farmer's markets, trendy eateries and art galleries only minutes away on two wheels or 4. This home is a 1948 Trousdale classic and a true Palm Springs gem. You will enjoy every minute of your stay, because we've thought of the little things to make your stay here a blast. My husband and I love to travel and explore. We have also been in the real estate industry for many years in the area helping clients buy and sell homes. My husband is also a writer and has written many books and one that covers about 600 homes and their histories. We enjoy theater and often checkout the Palm Canyon Theater in Palm Springs, we enjoy evenings with good dinner and music, we also enjoy checking out garage sales, and the different street markets/farmer's markets in the area. One other thing we have enjoyed over the years is checking out the vintage shops for books and records to add to my husbands collection. We are also foodies and enjoy finding good restaurant to try. The Desert holds many things we enjoy and we hope you have a wonderful time exploring here.
This neighborhood is full of history. This is where Liberace had a home, Loretta Young, Jerry Lewis, Gavin McCleod, this is the neighborhood the stars loved and enjoyed. It is also one of the most wind free in the Valley. Even when the wind is blowing in other areas it's not blowing here. Also close to golf, shopping, hiking, bike riding and fine restaurants abound. Palm Springs is a foodies paradise. Ride bikes to the Village of Palm Springs in less then 10 minutes mainly flat or you can walk to bus lines, catch a uber or taxi, or rent a car there is parking in the garage, in the driveway or in front of the house on the street.
