We love being at the cabin in any season, in the summer & fall we enjoy boating and fishing on the lake, exploring the hiking trails and the antique stores and in the and winter & spring we love to ski and sled of course. Our cabin has views of Bear Mountain Ski Resort so we watch the skiers come down the mountain...with a glass of wine from our 2 decks. We recently added a fire pit and adirondack seating to the upper deck. There is a ravine right outside the property which is perfect for collecting the huge pine cones that fall around here. Snuggling up in front of the fire and just relaxing is our favorite thing to do here, with our family and friends. NOTE: We only take PayPal and Cashiers Checks as payment. We also take personal checks if its received 4 weeks prior to check in. The guest making the reservation must be 25 years old or older. We will ask you to send us a picture of your valid government issued ID to verify before confirming your booking.
We are a family of four. I am a union electrician for a city utility, my wife is a Drill Sergeant in the U.S. Army and we have to 2 young boys. We just recently purchased this cabin from the previous owners, Leslie and Troy. We are new at being host, but we are very excited to join the booking community and we look forward to having you as a guest. Please feel free to contact us about any questions, concerns or ideas on how we can improve on your experience as a guest. We hope you enjoy your stay at our cabin.
We are located in the Moonridge area of Big Bear Lake, which is one of the most prestigious locations to be in. Only 3 blocks to the base of Bear Mountain Ski Resort, the Golf Club and Alpine Zoo. One mile from Snow Summit Resort...generally It's pretty quiet around our immediate neighborhood. Our cabin also has great views of the mountain and is easily accessible on a level street. No dangerously steep slopes or steps to navigate here! 5 Minutes drive to the Lake itself and The Village, which is chock full of boutiques, bars, restaurants, candy stores, horse drawn carriages and music venues. The Cave is a hot music spot attracting some fine bands and acts, you have to check it out!
