Wonderful host, who couldn't have been more helpful, with extra arrangements for us in advance (car hire, taxi) and very quick response to any queries or issues while we were there, despite being abroad; with a style that brilliantly combined warmth with efficiency Characterful cottage, built with great care to combine traditional looks with modern amenities, with exposed beams, spacious feel, homely and comfortable furniture Generally well equipped kitchen (subject to comment below) Spotlessly clean Pleasant housekeeper; helpfully left teas and coffees, drinking water, cleaned every other day Seeing others' comments, lack of AC not a problem as we were in the rainy season, and completely waterproof thatched roof was more relevant!

Beautiful fale in lush greenery. Very nicely presented and spacious for family stay. Kids also enjoyed the playground on site and the swinging chair in the living room. Very comfortable accommodation not too far from town.

Julia, welcomed us to her beautifully appointed fale. A traditional Tongan hut . We had clear communication before our arrival with lots of suggestions where to go where to eat. Julia organised a hire car for us too. The fale is eco friendly and all food waste goes to the pet pigs . On our arrival fresh coconuts were waiting for us. Julia assisted us during our stay with bookings to restaurants. Helped us when our car got a puncture. As a host Julia showed us the beautiful way the Kingdom of Tonga looks after visitors.

The location was perfect for our needs. the host was very responsive to everything we needed, we loved chatting with them when we saw them! The Fale gets cleaned every day which was nice to come home to. we cooked dinner in the kitchen almost every night and breakfast every morning with ease, everything you may need is provided already for you. Access to laundry was super great. we didn’t want to leave this place!

After driving through a tiny off-road forest path, you arrive at this hidden clearing with two beautiful cottages and two very friendly dogs guarding them. The owner, Julia, lives in one of those with her family, and is very nice and extremely helpful, going the extra mile with helping you organize transport to/from the airport, renting a car, telling you which places to visit and even asking around if you need something specific. The other cottage, in which you'll be staying, is very beautiful and comfortable, with a big kitchen and a lot of space. A great bonus, is that it has mosquito nets covering every single window, and an extra one over the bed.
