Mareeya Place is an exceptional property. Frank and Ann will take care of you as family. From check-in to check-out it felt like we are staying in a very professional hotel with very close focus on each of our travel needs. The rooms was brilliantly clean and equipped with everything you would want a hotel room should have. The breakfast was ample. The best part of Mareeya is its walking distance from the beach and many restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Close to the beach. Enough space in the room. It has fan and also conditioner that is not freezing and not blowing specifically, so we had comfortable temperature to our needs. In all other hotels it was not good with conditioner for example. Coffee and tea sticks and 4 bottles of water in the room everyday. Also you can take water as much as you want. Free coffee machine as much as you need. Free mat and towels for the beach. Place to wash feet from sand. The hotel is operated by the owners and Frank is always there to help you. Beds are hard but comfortable.

The beach is close, the pension provides beach towels. Breakfast also good, the coffee especially good. The bed comfortable and the room large enough. Shops, market are close.

My family and I really liked this place. We’ve been there for 5 days on new year holidays. It’s very clean and spacious. Frank and Ann were very friendly to us. It was interesting to speak with Frank about everything)) Ann organized for us great trip to ethical elephant park and was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good with tasty omelet and toasts. Location is very good. It’s not far from Kamala beach (about 5 minutes), its windows look at the silent backyard so there wasn’t any noise. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Stayed at the Mareeya for 5 nights over the New Year period and can highly recommend staying here. The owners, Frank and Anne, are so friendly and informative of the area. The rooms are lovely and super clean they have everything that you need during your stay. Breakfast is always fresh, and Anne makes great eggs. Coffee is good too, and also had unlimited bottles of water, which we thought was excellent. Although the hotel has bars and restaurants on hand, it doesn't stop you getting a good nights sleep. A few minutes walk, and you're on the beach. Frank went out of his way to help and assist. Thanks for a great stay. We will definitely be returning to The Mareeya.

Frank, Anna and her mother made me feel so welcome and nothing I asked was too much for them. They took care of me so well between organising day trips, airport transfer and breakfast requests. The location was exceptional, 3 mins from the beach. Would recommend for a solo traveller or anyone looking for a home away from home.
