Perfect location, close to city center, on the river bank - really beautiful. The atmosphere of the whole place is very friendly and cosy. The owner, Katja is very kind and helpful, and.speaks English very well. The rooms are spacious, modern and perfectly clean. The beds are just as comfortable as they are at home. The breakfast is delicious. This.is an excellent accommodation, we highly recommend.it to anyone.

Fani&Rozi stands out with its unique location on the Drava promenade in the heart of medieval Maribor. Our guests have exceptional views of the wide river and its bridges, the Renaissance fortification Judgement Tower, the Minorite monastery and the giant oak, which is the oldest tree in the city center. Along the riverbank in front of it is a promenade that is perfect for walking, running, cycling or sunbathing. It is not only the location that makes B&B Fani&Rozi unique, but also the history of this former family building. Fani was the name of our great grandmother who once owned a small shop where the raftsmen could buy food, cigarettes, matches and even nails and socks. Rozi was our beloved grandmother known for her hospitality. The design of the rooms is authentic. Each unit has its own character based on exciting and rich traditions of the place. A sun terrace is part of a café garden (temporary closed due to reconstruction of the Drava riverbank) where you can enjoy refreshing drinks&local wines or enjoy the river with its swans, ducks and river gulls. Special emphasis is placed on the local breakfast. This newly renovated property welcomes guests since July 2020.
As a student, I was a globetrotter. "Pre-internet" travells without a smartphone, but with the maps in my hands has remained my best live experience to this day. Since I am sure that travel memories are among the best and immortal ones, I do it again and again today, but vice versa. I am very happy I can be your host showing my city and my country to you. As a guest of our B&B Fani&Rozi you can expect quality standards and services, cleanliness, warm personal care and interesting tips on site. The top location on the Drava river banks, the historical surrounding with the cultural atmosphere, the proximity of the World's Oldest Vine and our warm welcome will make your experience unforgettable.
Fani&Rozi B&B is located in the medieval heart of Maribor. The World's Oldest Vine, more than 450 year old Guinness record holder, is only 200m away and it is the only vine plant with its own museum Old Vine House. Nearby you can also visit a former Jewish quarter. The riverbank in front of it is the promenade of the city and is perfect for walking, running, cycling, sunbathing or simply for relaxing with a drink or meal in one of the many restaurants and cafés nearby. Parking is available in the garage just around the corner under the main Market place. The nearest grocery store is 150m away, the center of Maribor with its Gothic Cathedral, Slovene National Theater&Opera and Renaissance City Hall is in at walking distance of 500m. A local bus stop is 250m and the main Railway station is 2 km away. The nearest fitness center and Olympic indoor swimming pool you can find in the range of 350m, the local Spa 2,2km. The Pohorje mountain with ski resorts is 6,4 km away. You can reach our beautiful park in only 7 minutes. Don't miss the fantastic surroundings of Maribor embraced on all sides by vineyards, forests and lush green hills!
