We, Myriam and Henk are looking forward to welcoming you in our Casa das Eiras, where you can stay in our wonderful holiday apartment. In a labour of love and an eye for detail, this fully restored authentic country home has been returned to its original former glory. Our “quinta” is situated in the middle of Portugal in the small village of Pereira/Mouronho. You will find Pereira near the River Alva between the cities of Coimbra and Viseu and on the foot of the Serra da Estrela mountain range. The detached caretaker’s house is situated in our secluded garden and can accommodate 4 to 5 people. Via an outside staircase you enter the apartment which has a cosy living room with a heater and a beautiful view of the mountains. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen and bathroom. The apartment has its own patio and a little square with a tree for shade. Furthermore there are secluded seating areas with azulejos tiled benches (authentic Portuguese ceramic tiles) and fountains to be enjoyed, either in the sun, or in the shad. There is also quite a lot to do in the vicinity.
