The Hours is very big and quiet. The rooms are quite big and very comfortable. Outside there a nice area where you can sit and relax and a swimming pool you can use. Everything is open and usable by the people that are staying. Since there only a few rooms, it’s like being at home. If you need things for the beach, you’ll find them there. There are umbrellas, chairs, mini surfboard etc The hosts are wonderful. We had some problems with the car and got there very late for the check in, and Karin was there to wait for us. Every morning there’s a nice breakfast, with fresh juice and homemade jam.

Wonderful hosts providing superb B&B accomodation in a tastefully renovated country farmhouse in an idyllic Portuguese countryside setting. This was the first stop on our 2 week Portuguese holiday and we would have been happy to stay longer. Karen was so friendly and provided great suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. The breakfast was more than enough and yum. The freshly squeezed juice from local oranges and homemade marmalade were wonderful treats. The pool provided a perfect way to cool off and relax after exploring Silves, only a few kilometres away, or visiting the beaches of the Algarve. This was perfect accommodation for us, a couple looking for comfortable, quiet accommodation to relax in, after busy days exploring.

Wonderful peaceful and secluded base for exploring the area. The owners are very much involved with the day to day running of the place which is a big bonus as they are lovely. Room was comfortable and the place is spotlessly clean.

Precious place in the rural area just 8 min by car from Silves. The place is beautiful, calm, suited for both couples and families. Hosts are fantastic people : welcoming and full of recommendations. Do not hesitate, it's the perfect place to enjoy and visit the south Algarve region !! We will come back with our kids !!

The owners were lovely and friendly and nothing was too much trouble - iron, extra pillow etc. Great buffet breakfast and treated to local treats too. Options to sit in or outside. After being out for the day this was a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle and was so peaceful and relaxing. Initially as there were not very many visitors, we felt as though we had our own villa! Relaxing music playing inside and out. Lots of wildlife to watch especially birds. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hangers. Shower was good, water was HOT! Open house gave us a great deal of flexibility - Hubby even cooked dinner the first night! Nice pool available. Plenty of parking. Range of drinks and treats available at a reasonable cost. Very close to the local village - just 5 mins drive.

Received a very warm welcome with lots of information, including where to dine in Silves. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for a day's exploring and the room was spotless again when we returned for an afternoon swim. The main kitchen was well equipped for eating in and there was a fridge full of drinks with an honesty book which was great on a hot afternoon. The setting of the property was beautiful with many birds in and around the garden. Just the spot to relax and we'd definitely return.
