Set in 3.5 acres of land our property has the best of both worlds - close enough to the beaches to walk - Burgau 30 mins walk away or a quick drive into Lagos City 10 mins. We are on the outskirts of a typical Portuguese village (Almadena) with good links to the West Coast and A22 motorway, close to both south and west coast which is perfect if you would like to go for a surfing adventure. Set in an old farmhouse this gite-like property has six apartments, which sleeps 20 guests comfortably in: 1 x three bedroom apartment 2 x two bedroom apartments 1 x 1 bedroom apartment with living room 2 x studios (one with mobility aids) The property had a huge garden area, safe parking within gates, a 14 x 7 meter swimming pool, a dual BBQ and a communal kitchen equipped with an oven, ceramic hob, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge/freezer, iron/ironing board, kettle and toaster.

Almadena is a beautiful village, life is at a much slower pace here, with villagers happy to take time out to chat. There is a small mini market for essentials, the nearest supermarket about 5 km away in Luz or Burgau, which both has beautiful beaches to explore.
