1991 marks the beginning of a very happy Portuguese-German relationship that started in Berlin during our three-year training to become travel agents. After successfully completing the training, we spent several years gaining valuable experience at specialist travel agencies in Berlin and Lisbon. Eight years later, we took one of our Lisbon friends up on his offer to buy his apartment in Lapa. Having renovated as well as having carefully decorated and furnished the apartment, we regularly spent the winter months in Lisbon with our young daughter. During this time, we developed a keen interest in historic building features, design objects and the restoration of antiques. This became a tremendous success giving us the opportunity to turn what we love into a profitable business. We have been offering our lovingly restored and furnished apartments to our guests since January 2007 – with excellent feedback. The beautiful views to the huge Tagus estuary on both sides of the apartments let you enjoy the proximity of the water. The great balcony terraces, the highlight of these utterly stylish apartments, invites you to relax for hours after an exciting day in Lisbon. It offers you an overwhelming panoramic view that will delight you day and night. Note: There is no elevator in our old town house (3rd floor). If you have mobility problems we would not recommend this property. The thoughtfully renovated, sophisticated apartments are located in a building of the 1920s. We used all our experience to create a perfect mixture of modern housing quality and design classics. The elegant kitchens and living rooms offers you everything you need to feel at home in these beautiful apartments. The modern and bright bathrooms are equipped with spacious showers and each with two basins. Our favorite place in the apartments are the nice balcony terraces. This offers you breathtaking views to the beautiful Santa Engracia church and

Neighbourhood information

We like this contemplative neighbourhood very much. You have a lot of tiny stores for all wishes. In our main street Rua Magalhaes you can order always fresh portuguese lunch and dinner at "Senhor Cardoso" for a favourable price. Just opposite, Senhor Graciano offers you everything you'll need at his small, but very well sorted grocery store. We can recommend you to visit also Museu da Agua at our quarter, the historic Water Museum with an old garden park. The famous baroque cathedral Santa Engracia is easily reachable on foot. At Rua Washington you have the bus stop and within 10 minutes walking distance you'll reach easily the metro and international train station Santa Apolonia.
