Traditional restored house in Ericeira, located in Fonte Boa dos Nabos, we are 2 kms away from the sea, you can walk there, (some parts of the way are up the hill). Sumedharama Buddhist Temple is 900 meters away from our home, you can also do walks around our cute village or to Ribeira d'Ilhas beach, through a nature path, by car you'll get to these places in 5 minutes. Our century home, was restored and there is now a welcoming kitchen, a cosy dining area, a modern living area, bathroom and a relaxing bedroom. As our guest you'll have our main house for your entire exclusive use. We live in a separate house within the property and use the common gate to enter the patio. We have created designated areas just for you, in our patio garden, with benches, large table and chairs, to allow you to sit comfortably outside at anytime of the day. We are very relaxed people and will be on hand to help with any queries you might have. We supply bedding, bath, beach towels, sun umbrella, hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, dishwasher tablets and dish detergent.
We lived in Lisbon, Cascais, Ericeira and London, living and sharing Ericeira's magic with others was a lifetime dream for us. When you have an organised accountant (Cristina) and an interior designer (Carla), with a dream of restoring an old traditional house, we can assure you that we did everything to make sure you will find our place a comfortable home to live in during your stay. We enjoy a good veggie meal (but we can recommend several traditional Portuguese and international restaurants too), photography, gardening, love animals, walks by the sea, visit places in Portugal and of course to travel abroad.
Ericeira village is known for the exceptional coastline conditions for surf, fishing and has a unique vibe. Fonte Boa dos Nabos is an agricultural community, which is part of Ericeira but has its own relaxed atmosphere, anytime of the year, Sumedharama Buddhist Monastery is just 900 meters walk from our home. Ericeira town and the sea are only 2 kms down the hill if you want to feel the local vibe or head to any of the many beaches around, to relax, walk by the sea or practice some sport. National road N247 is just 2 minutes away from our house, which to the left will take you south of Portugal to: Sintra (25Kms), Cascais (35Kms) or Lisbon (50 Kms). Further south, we suggest visits to Evora (163 Kms), Vila Nova Mil Fontes (220 Kms) and Sagres (318 Kms). Turning right on N247 when you leave our home, will take you North firstly to World Surf Reserve beaches and then other lovely villages like Santa Cruz (25 Kms), Peniche (59 Kms), Nazare (100 Kms). A little further up north you can head to Coimbra (200 Kms), Figueira da Foz (185 Kms) or Porto (350 Kms).
