Our holiday home is located in the historic & scenic village of Paderne, and situated in a small gated condominium with shared outdoor pool, parking for two cars. Our air-conditioned home offers modern, but homely bright spacious open plan living area, plenty of comfortable seating, flat-screen TV, DVD & WIFI. Lounge/Dinning area with breakfast bar that opens onto a fully-equipped modern kitchen. Also a separate toilet & single bedroom on the ground floor. Wooden open stairs lead you upstairs to 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. Two of the bedrooms lead out onto a sun filled private terrace complete with sun loungers, seating & hammock with views over the hills. The garden/patio has a rural outlook over fields, traditional BBQ & comfortable dinning & seating area for you to enjoy alfresco dinning. The lively Albufeira town & glorious beaches are 9 miles away with the nearest award winning Golf course 9.6 miles away. We are 22 miles and 33 mins from Faro Airport. We are perfectly placed to explore all along the Algarve coast and the countryside.

A leisurely 15 min walk or 3 min drive to the village of Paderne. The 15th Century church is the heart of the village with narrow back streets, delightful to wonder around, here you will find good quality & reasonable priced Restaurants, Cafe's/Bars some with outside dinning so take your time and enjoy, also Boutiques/Shops/Chemist/Post Office/Bank & local bus service. Paderne boasts a fully intact Roman bridge & 12th century Castle, a good place to start to explore an array of activities in the surrounding area including cycling or hiking which is very popular, for the more adventurist Jeep safari & Quad bikes tours are available from Paderne, more details can be found onTripAdvisor. Another typical Algarve Village Alte, dating from Roman times. The focal point is it's natural Spring swimming baths, picnic tables & BBQ facilities, including a snack bar on site. Paderne's old centre turns back the clock to Medieval times for four days over the festive period, where there's a Medieval market, bars, stalls with gastronomic delicacies, the arts & crafts of yesteryear, exhibitions, musical performances. Albufeira town, wonderful Beaches & Golf courses, only a short distance away.
