Blue Wave is an apartment in the main tourist district of Funchal, close to the sea and is ideal for two people. The apartment has an interior area of 31 m2 and a balcony of 4.5 m2 on the 8th floor of a residential building. The building has a shared swimming pool (temporarily close for construction works) and a common parking area. The apartment comprises a bedroom with a double bed measuring 2.0 x 1.6 m, a bathroom and a small living area with sofa, dining table and kitchenette. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, washing machine, stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international channels and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay. Free parking on premises is subject to availability. If parking on premises is not available, there is a paid parking lot at 200 meters, and it is possible authorized street parking nearby. The building is in a residential complex, but there is potential traffic noise, particularly during the day and if the windows are open. We ask that all guests keep food well-packed, so as to limit attracting insects given the island climate. Cleaning is done before guests check in and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. Additional cleaning may be requested.

The property is in a residential area at the main touristic district of Funchal. Within 5-minutes’ walk there are several restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets and attraction centres. It is 250 meters from Ponta Gorda swimming facility, 400 meters from Forum Madeira Shopping Centre and 900 meters from the Lido Swimming Complex via the Lido Promenade. The apartment has easy pedestrian access to seaside Lido Promenade, bus stops near the building and is easy to drive from and to the major roads.
