Better book one of the huts. Its amazing to stay there. The budget room is also okay.

Absolutely perfect! Just a little peace of paradise :). Grace, Pina and the rest of the Team are just lovely und try to help you with everything :). There were no sandflies, neither jellyfish when I was there. Maybe its a seasonal thing.

Quiet and right on the beach. Staff are fantastic! Great place to just relax. Christian, the dive master really took great care of us on a day of diving, and the diving was as relaxed as the resort. WiFi in the public area was more than adequate for me to keep up with online work commitments.

We visited Mecaja with a family of four (boys age 6 and 9) for 12 nights. There was plenty to do during our stay (Snorkeling, Island hopping, van trips to Roxas, Mangrove experiences). Mecaja exceeded our expectation in every aspect, it's like a little piece of paradise on earth that is at your disposal and you can decide what you want to do with it. Staff were amazing especially Grace, Jenny, Jonathan, Dong, Scuba Master, chefs and boat captains. Thank you everyone for sharing your home with we definitely felt as part of the family! Mecaja a is very well looked after establishment and so much hard work goes into running this place every day by all members of the staff but also the management. We also had the privilege to meet the owner and the wider family from Sweden, it was great to have many interesting conversations with everyone. Mecaja was an amazing place to visit and we will definitely return.

If you are looking relaxing and quiet location this the place. Morningwalks only you on the empty beautiful beach was amazing. Restaurant is open allday and food was good. First of all, the place is really beautiful, a little paradise on the beach.We were there for a total of 14 days. Especially the first week was very nice and relaxing. The courtesy and support of the employees is outstanding. They are always friendly and helpful. The place is really remote. This can be an advantage and a disadvantage (see below). The advantage is that you are absolutely undisturbed here. There are no carolers, no beggars, no vendors or anyone who consider you as a walking wallet. You can relax in one of the hammocks or the cushions on the beach and have peace and quiet. The internet connection is outstanding and the best I ever found in a resort (and I saw many of them). Thanks to solar panels, there are almost no power outages, which is anything but a given in Palawan. At most, the batteries may run out during the night if there are a lot of guests.
