Qantab is a very quiet neighborhood with a lot of friendly cats and goats. Watch the fishermen and join them for a ride! Enjoy the interaction with the Omani locals and take part in their activities. If you want more action, easily a lot of sports activities, like diving, boot trips can be arranged. Qantab is a traditional, quiet fishing village , a hidden gem, close to bustling Muscat. Goats and cats are roaming the streets, well aware that every car stops for them! 2 small supermarkets cater for your daily needs, the next “big” hyper market is 12 Kilometers away. All kind of watersports activities can be arranged, boat tours, snorkeling, diving. If you prefer trips to the surrounding attractions, our licensed partners take you there. If you are here by car, it takes 15 Minutes to reach Mattrah Suq, the Al Alam Palace and the award winning National Museum. If you consider to visit a performance at the Royal Opera House, you have to book well in advance. If you would prefer a lavish night out, many Hotels with amazing restaurants are a few minutes drive away.
