This home is best suited for adults. The Bay House does not allow children under 13 years old without Owner’s approval. Guests at The Bay House have outstanding front row views of Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables, Cecil Peak and Walter Peak. Bedroom Configuration: The master bedroom and Bedroom 2 each have king split beds, which can be configured as 1x king or 2x single beds per room, which gives excellent flexibility for different group dynamics. Bedroom 3 has a king bed. Please state your preferred setup when booking. The dining area opens up to the sunny and sheltered backyard with BBQ, outdoor table and seating and two sun loungers. This private area also features a brand new spa pool, perfect for soothing the muscles after a day on the slopes or bike trails. The lounge has a sliding door opening up to the front balcony; soak up the fresh mountain air, relaxing lake sounds and panoramic alpine views. There are 4 good quality tennis racquets, pétanque balls and frisbee golf frisbees available to use at the courts, greens and course in the Queenstown Gardens just minutes walk away. Guests are also welcome to use the chilly bin, small backpack and picnic rug for excursions.

Neighborhood info

Crystal clear Lake Wakatipu is at the doorstep, making this an amazing holiday base. The Bay House is located in Queenstown’s ‘dress circle’ as it’s known by locals. This is a unique area close to town, but away from the action and incredibly quiet with little traffic, other than cyclists, runners and walkers heading to and from the delightful Frankton Track at the end of Park Street. You can carry on along this beautiful lakefront trail through Kelvin Heights and all the way to Jack’s Point. The Queenstown Gardens is just minutes away towards town, which has frisbee golf, walking trails, picnic spots, tennis, lawn bowls and ice skating.
