Set in a bush-clad section, each of our three bungalows has its own individual character and its own private space. Bored with bland chain hotel and motel rooms? We are a small, family owned and run business, offering self contained, self catering accommodation in your own little slice of Waiheke. A perfect space to relax and wind down, and only 5 minutes’ walk to one of the best beaches on the island.
My husband, Graeme, and myself are thrilled to be welcoming guests to this beautiful island. My day job is as a singer, choral director, arranger and composer. I train and conduct 3 choirs, one of them the unique Sister Shout on Waiheke Island. A number of my compositions and arrangements have been sung by lots of other choirs - the farthest away being in Alaska. We have 3 adult children (and 3 delightful children-in-law). The youngest is still studying and lives at home - the others live nearby in Auckland. The family has 2 dogs who sometimes visit the Bungalows - Minnow, the border collie x miniature poodle, and Wicky, the rough-coat Jack Russell. Graeme is a software engineer for a marine electronics company. He doesn't sing at all and is really a cat person (he suspects that Minnow and Wicky are not cats but isn't quite sure...).
Quiet area just a few minutes walk to one of the best beaches on the island.
