Just 4-minutes from the beach on either side, take a stroll down and walk along the infamous long stretch of sandy beach and admire the local beauty. With plenty of options to go for a swim, surf, fish or even visit the local winery, you'll be sure not to run out of things to do. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
