Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Jennifer’s Cottage is set on a farm with great views of the rolling hills and grazing stock. Quiet and comfortable accommodation that is in close proximity to Oamaru, Kakanui, Moeraki and an hour from Dunedin. Enjoy the quiet surrounds and bird life as you relax in peace and comfort in this self-contained accommodation with all the amenities you need. The space Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, bedroom 2 has a queen bed and bedroom 3 has two king single beds. Portacot and high chair available. The kitchen dining lounge area opens out to a spacious deck. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink on the deck as you watch the sun sink behind the hill Guest access Guests are welcome to walk around. Be mindful that this is a working farm with hazards and animals. Leave gates as you find them. Check with owners before venturing out
We have been farming at Maheno for over 32 years and have a Suffolk sheep stud. We look forward to welcoming you to our place, and we hope you enjoy a relaxing time.
The cottage is around 15 minutes drive from Oamaru where you can access supermarkets, restaurants and various shopping, cafes and the Oamaru Victorian Precinct. Dunedin is just over an hour's drive away. There is a great swimming beach at Kakanui. There are some great areas to cycle and we are not far from the Alps2Ocean cycle trail.
