Whitianga, 1 bed Queen Studio near the beach. A cosy, secure little getaway! We are a short 2 minute stroll to Brophy’s Beach, a lovely little beach for a stroll or dip. Our place is situated at the quiet end of Whitianga, just 4ks from the main shops. Take the car or enjoy a lovely 3.5k scenic walk along the seaside path into town, or venture over the hill to golden sands of Wharekaho. You can expect to find a lovely and spacious studio with Netflix, Wifi and ample room to relax. Tea & coffee are supplied for you. A bottle of cold tap water & a small 250ml milk will be in the fridge on your arrival. A good sized ensuite is off the bedroom studio, which hosts a large shower with amazing water pressure and instant hot water. (Gas) Bath towels, beach towels, face cloths, hand towel, floor mat and tea towels are all provided. The studio room is attached to the main house although it is its own separate place. (There are no inter-connecting internal doors and the wall between our house and the studio is solid concrete so you won't hear us and we won't hear you). There is a large sliding door entrance which is double glazed (along with the studio windows) so the room is nice and quiet. Our entrance is beside the studio entrance so you may see us occasionally. The bed is a comfortable queen bed, made up with lovely fresh white organic cotton sheets and a cosy duvet. (We have provided an extra blanket in the cupboard should you need it). There is also a large soft sofa to relax on, watch Netflix or read a book. A Microwave, kettle, coffee pod machine, toaster, plates, cutlery, wine glasses, mugs, salt & pepper and a small fridge are also in the room for your use. We can also provide an Iron & Ironing board should you need it. (please let us know prior to your stay). You will find an instruction manual in the studio with information on how to use everything, including internet and TV access info, and recommendations for places to eat and things to do :)

Whitianga, Waikato, New Zealand A great coffee cart is situated on the beach just a short stroll from the Studio (currently only open weekday mornings till about 11/12noon). There is also a public barbeque area at the beach and we have supplied BBQ tools if you wish to use this. The Coromandel Peninsula hosts plenty of great attractions. With the Lost Spring a favourite Whitianga treat. (Just be sure to book as they are not always open). Getting around Whitianga is a small beachside town well set up as a tourist hot spot. You can get around on foot, however you will need a car to get here and easily access all the great regional spots.
