MyStays has evolved from Lakeside Accommodation, a local business operating in Taupo. Founder of MyStays, Elle Knight, took ownership of Lakeside Accommodation in 2014 when it had just eight properties. Less than 10 years later, she has built a team of 30 staff who manage more than 70 properties around the Lake Taupo region - all via word-of-mouth. Over the years, Elle has established robust systems and processes that allow her to provide an extremely high level of service. This is then passed down to her employees, through best-practice training and development. There’s no question that the MyStays team are the experts in managing listings, marketing properties and taking care of guest communications. And on the ground - our GEMs are highly skilled in all areas of day-to-day property management, knowing that the details matter when ensuring that guests enjoy their stay.

A separate toilet and two outdoor entertaining areas, one with a BBQ complete this level, where the spa pool beckons relaxation between the two bedrooms. The lower level presents a kitchenette, living area with a smart TV, and the third outdoor entertaining space – under cover for year-round use. This level also hosts the remaining three bedrooms, two with queen-size beds and the last featuring 2 single beds (bunks), accessible externally unless you're a child with a knack for finding the secret internal access designed for smaller explorers. Outside, a charming garden and expansive lawn provide ample space for back yard cricket or a leisurely ball game. Secure off-street parking for cars and a boat is available, with garage space for one vehicle.
