Chez Tiaré sits high in the privileged position of Bluff Hill, the property is a contemporary hilltop character house, listed as an historic place. You will immerse in the tranquil garden, enjoy the song of the many birds and the ocean’s waves breaking on the nearby shore. Separate from our family home you will have your own space to relax and unwind. The Loft Apartment is a comfortable 50sqm space accessible by stairs. The beautifully appointed loft apartment overlooks the magnificent Cape Kidnappers and the homestead garden. It features one super king size bed, a couch, a dining table, a Smart TV with Netflix, free WiFi, air-conditioning and one bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave and a fridge.
Tiaré offers exclusive accommodations and quality breakfast ingredients. The lodgings comprise a two-bedroom private wing (namely Chez Tiaré -The Private Wing) and a separate standalone one-bedroom loft apartment (namely Chez Tiaré - The Loft Apartment). Separate from our family home you will have your own space to relax and unwind. Jerome and Odile are French-Kiwi, both from a pacific island, and we will be your hosts for the duration of your stay. “Chez Tiaré” is named after Odile’s Polynesian origins. We speak fluent English and we can assist with providing information about the local area. Napier and the neighbouring areas are our reason for moving to this area after eight years in Auckland. We enjoy the mild climate, the beauty of the mountains and the sea. We want to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible and we will assist you where we can.
Known for its warm Mediterranean climate, esplanade lined with Norfolk Pines and extensive Art Deco architecture, Napier is often revered as the "Nice of the Pacific". The property is ideally located on Bluff Hill, you will stroll down the pedestrian walkway to the famous Art Deco City centre or to the popular seaside village of Ahuriri, (the small fishing suburb) in only 10 to 15 minutes. The Botanical Garden and Bluff Hill Lookout are respectively 1.4km and 1.8km from the house, while the Napier Airport is only a 10min drive. Hawke’s Bay is the New Zealand’s oldest and second largest wine growing region. Food and wine experiences aplenty can be sampled of the region. Cycling is a pleasant option for exploring the surroundings via the many cycle paths and circuits on offer across the bay.
