Whether it is winter, summer, autumn or spring. The place is beautiful and magical regardless of the season. Be welcome at our farm where fresh bread is baked where milk, butter, cheese, eggs and yoghurt are ready. You can cuddle calves, cows and horses. Enjoy the space, peace and freedom! Be welcome at kjellstadli gård. Its is an older house. But very nice to stay in. We upgrade the house every time. The house has a fireplace for warming up the house and in the winter there are electrical heaters availlible. On a active farm with cows and horses.
We are a family with 3 children and we are having a dairy farm and breeding horses. We love to be outside working on the farm and being busy with the animals. In the summer time we also have to work on the field and bring the cows to and from the mountain. Not a problem at all if you want to see our cows or having questions, we are proud to be farmers and show you around the place.
Peace and quiet, beauty all around you. No matter what the weather brings. In the winter snow everywhere you look and sometimes it is almost 3 meter high! On the other side of the farm is a ski track up the mountain and at the back of our farm also a ski track. In the summer so much places to go hiking and all the animals are outside again after a long winter so you can find cows, sheeps and horses on your hiking trips. The animals are always friendly and the area is so big they can go around you. We have a beautiful place called Kjellstaddalen where you can go for a hike. Also is there a hole in the ground where you can see how the earth release pressure. The farm is far enough from the main road and no strange cars on the place. The store is at 15 min at Hellesylt, or 15 min to Grodås. For bigger places you can go to stranda, stryn, nordfjordeid, volda and even ålesund is a good option for a day shopping. car and bus
