Company information

To be honest, Nyksund is the place close to my heart. Also my family has had background in this place. We own an antique shop under the flat – Delpen Bokcafe. This is one of my hobbies. I am also a writer. I write about the unique history of Nyksund and people who lived here. If you like to speak about Nyksund, you can find me almost every day in the shop :-) or in the former fishing factory, next to the flat. I might be preparing torkfish there. Probably, I will be also the one who will give you key from the flat.

Property information

Welcome. It is nice to have you here. My name is Atle and I live in Nyksund for many years. Nyksund is one of the places which is the best to experience. It is a costal fishing village with 20 residents and unique history. Skolpen, as we used to call this flat familiarly, is 14m2 fully furnished flat on the pier. The standard you can need – double bed, wardrobes, private kitchen with kitchenware, private bathroom with shower and toilet, table and chairs. View is fantastic. You can see the pier and Langøya from the whole property.

Neighbourhood information

However, Nyksund is a small village you can find here restaurants, bar, galleries, delpen bokcafe -antiques, books but also waffles and coffee. Food shopping: you need to drive back to Myre. Here are f.e. Rema, Coop, Bunnpris…. The Northern sea is only cca 70 m from the flat. Walking, hiking, from 180 m (Nyksundøya – fabulous view and a lovely lighthouse) to 1,4km ( Langøya - starting point for Dronningruta, Nyksund 1,4 km ) I cannot forget geocaching. Check GPS :-) If you are interest in hiking tours or renting bikes, I can recommend you the service of my friend in the neighborhood. Under the flat there is also possibility to do water sport – sea rafting, boat shuttle. Bird and seal watching is also often searched. And of course whale safari. We have already had whales in Nyskund years ago. It is difficult to predict the hour you will see northern lights but cca from September to March you can enjoy them. After dark season is almost 24 hours of daylight coming from cca April to August. Nyksund can be the place for your next holiday memories. You are welcome.
