Company information

We are a Dutch Brazilian family and we live animals, nature, permaculture gardening, music, wood working and acrobatics. Wij wonen in het huis tegenover de kaasmakerij waar de gastenverblijven zich bevinden. We zijn veel thuis en beschikbaar voor vragen, tips en informatie, maar je ziet ons niet als je daar geen behoefte aan hebt.

Op onze gezellige boerderij Huize Blokland hebben wij in de oude kaasmakerij een tweetal prachtige appartementen gebouwd. 't Winkeltje is een knus huisje ideaal voor stellen of kleine gezinnen op met prachtig uitzicht op de oude boomgaard. Wij hebben paarden, schaapjes, kippen en poezen die het allemaal heerlijk vinden om geknuffeld te worden. De slaapkamer bevindt zich op de vide, waardoor de ruimte van het huisje optimaal wordt benut. De tuindeuren die openen naar een terras op het oosten (ochtendzon) geven veel licht en een geweldig uitzicht. De keuken heeft alles wat je nodig hebt om lekker te kunnen koken. In de badkamer is een toilet, wastafel en regendouche. Het gehele huisje heeft vloerverwarming waardoor het (vooral in de winter) altijd heerlijk warm is. Er is een tv met chromecast waar je alles kunt kijken wat je wilt. De slaapbank beneden is comfortabel en prima voor 2 personen (140x200, met lattenbodem).

Neighbourhood information

Hem is een klein schattig dorp aan de rand van het IJsselmeer. Onze boerderij ligt iets buiten het dorp omringd door weilanden en zo'n 3 km afstand van het IJsselmeer en de dijk. Hier kun je op meerdere plekken zwemmen in de zomer en gedurende het hele jaar prachtige wandel- en fietstochten maken. De gezellige stadjes Hoorn en Enkhuizen liggen beide op 10km afstand. Hier kun je lekker eten en drinken en winkelen. Verder zijn daar leuke musea en culturele activiteiten. Met de auto of fiets zijn we gemakkelijk te bereiken via Hoorn of Enkhuizen. Het treinstation hoogkarspel ligt op 3km afstand. Hier zijn enkele ov fietsen beschikbaar. Ook verhuren wij fietsen en is er een lokale fietsenwinkel die een ruim(er) aanbod aan fietsen (o.a. e-bikes) verhuurt.
