  • Hi, your studio looks terrific. Could you let me know best way to travel from Schiphol to your property? And how long this takes on average? Family of 2 adults & 2 teenagers. Also what is included in "breakfast"? Many thanks, Esmé

    Thank you Esme! From Schiphol by taxi is about 20 min, by public transport it's about 35 min. Taxi costs about €30 so easiest with luggage. We don't offer breakfast but there's enough restaurant choices in the neighborhood.

  • Hello, I really like your place. I have 2 questions: 1.How far is your place from the center, from Dam square?[walking} 2.Is it possible to heat food in your place, using the oven? Thank you for your response

    Dam square is 15 min walking through a small forest, 2 bus stops, 1 metro stop and then 5 min walk (in total 30 min). You can also walk to the free ferry (30 min), then the ferry 5 min and then 5 min walk. There is a microwave/oven in the studio.

We have a boutique suite on the ground floor of our three story townhouse. Our townhouse has an urban/industrial/wharf feel, has 3 floors which are connected via an internal staircase, living area with kitchen on the first floor, bedrooms on the ground- first-and second floor. The ground floor, facing the private parking lot with private neighbourhood garden, is rebuilt into a boutique suite which can also be redecorated as a photostudio.
Hi, we are a lively entrepreneurial family of six (children 21, 18, 12 and 5). Daan is a photographer/entrepreneur and Joni is an entrepreneur, facilitating an app for tax-free shopping for international tourists. We love traveling and have stayed over the world. The places we enjoyed the most where the ones that made us feel at home and provided us with a local feeling. There is a saying that the first 8 interactions you have when you are traveling determine how you have experienced the trip. The neighbourhood is my favorite and I don't say so because I live here. It is just quiet but dynamic enough just around the corner. It is the feel of Amsterdam like it used to be, where neighbors say hi and children play around, students have picnics in the grass and tourists walk around.
