In the picturesque village of Horn, in the middle of Limburg quite near to Roermond, lies our unique farmhouse from 1861. Situated in the shadow of Horn Castle with its beautiful gardens, our Bed and Breakfast is a perfect base to visit the wonderful surroundings. Our B&B is unique because each apartment has its own unique style, with a level passage to our court yard. The three apartments are luxurious and comfortably equipped with all conveniences. All rooms have comfortable box-spring beds, a spacious bathroom and TV with a cosy corner. In every apartment it is possible to prepare free coffee (Nespresso) and tea and a minibar is available. Cooking is not possible there, barbecue or grill is not allowed. Furthermore all apartments are completely non-smoking and no pets allowed. Besides your room you can use the inner court terrace, where you have a lovely place to sit and relax. In our breakfast room an extensive breakfast is served, consisting of among other things regional produce, homemade jam, fruit, freshly baked rolls, fried bacon and eggs, coffee, tea and orange juice. Packed lunch is available upon request. You can stay overnight all year long.
In the farm where Peter’s Godfather had a sheep business and his parents afterwards ran a farmhouse, we started rebuilding the stables and in 1996 we started a Bed and Breakfast from our hearts. We have rebuilt the farm into three lovely apartments, the ‘horses stable’, the ‘sheep pen’ and the ‘milk-room’. The ‘sheep pen’ and the ‘milk-room’ have already been renovated.
Walking and cycling IN THE VILLAGE OR IN NATURE If you like walking, cycling and nature this is the place to be! Horn and its neighbouring villages are beautiful to explore on foot or by bike. Walking maps are available at our place. Also bikes and E-bikes can be rented at our place (on request). De Maasplassen WATER FUN And we must not forget to mention our beautiful water-sport area ‘De Maasplassen’, where everything connected to water-sport can be found. Furthermore you are about five minutes (by car) from the historic centre of the city of Roermond. In intimate Roermond you can make a nice walk around the city or go shopping, among others in the Designer Outlet with more than 250 shops. This and other touristic information lies ready for you at our place. Did you know that: TRAVEL Roermond Central Station is only five minutes away by car and that the airports of Eindhoven and Maastricht are only an half hour, Düsseldorf, Niederrrhein and Cologne are all only an hour away from our place?
